Abstract

In today’s technological arena E-commerce becomes one of the finest modes for commercial transactions as the development of the World Wide Web led to plays a major role in the global economy. Now a question generally comes what all about E-commerce is and why IP is required for protection & management. Over here I just elucidate that E-commerce means electronic commerce which involves buying and selling goods and services. It can be described as commercial transactions taken place through the internet. Like Amazon, Flip kart has significant influences on the environment which led to the development of IP Assets for the protection of the online business. IP plays major roles in the area of trademark, patent and copyright policy questions in light of the role played by the Internet in the world economy and intellectual property system which will be discussed in this paper.
